It's Thursday. Time for an update.
Got a brand-new Epson Perfection V700 Photo scanner today. Finally I can start scanning and uploading the efforts of the past year! The nice lady above was a model at Glen Vilppu's head class from last fall. Good good stuff. Here she is again:

Wow, this is a part of you I haven't seen before; portraits! How wonderful are these? Dood, they're airy and precise at the same time. I hope there's more of these. Very very cool.
Interesting! That's the second time today I've heard Glen Vilppu's name. Apparently part of our drawing curriculum is based on his teachings. He was a visiting artist here at SCAD a while back. From what I understand it must have been amazing to take a class with him!
Thank you one and all! Glenn's books are well worth checking out, Miss Lonnie. It was a great class. I hope to have those sorts of chops in my seventies, too!
